It's a gorgeous Wisconsin day with a temperature that had risen to 32 degrees as I took these photos this morning. Needless to say, there are no blooms in my gardens today as all of the perennials have been sheared back and put to bed for the winter and annuals pulled out. I actually love this time of the year... the gardens are so time consuming that other things things don't always get done. I can now concentrate on those projects and am in the process of building new glass storage cabinets for my studio and adding fresh organization as well as painting. What a mess right now as I move scads of glass sheets while in the process of cutting out the new magnolia shade commission as well!
If you scroll down to my November 12th, there are recent photos of the ornamental cabbages that are the main color in the gardens now.... otherwise, the only blooms I have are my crown of thorns plants. They always bloom well in the house although the colors aren't quite as bright as when I have them outside over the summer. I have yellow, red, and pink selections as well as a miniature in bloom just now. For other November bloom day posts, click on the link to the right.
As always... take care, Larry
