The winter aconite... a touch of sunshine from the buttercup family... I hope it feels welcome in my garden and I will encourage to spread wherever it wishes... a gift from a friend, I must say it makes me very happy! I can't wait for it to bloom in the snow... it is quite capable of doing exactly that, for it blooms very early in the season... these photos were taken on March 16th... that's only four months away!!
