I sometimes get to a point of wondering whether I should continue to blog... after all, I've shared thousands of photos of these two acres over the past few years. It's sort of like the old joke about sharing home movies with your guests... but then again, my blog visitors keep returning of their own accord. Beyond that, when I'm questioning why I post, I invariably get a comment or an e-mail saying that my photos really help to brighten the dark days of winter for someone...or that my photos bring joy to someone's life. If one person receives joy from what I share, then I am satisfied that I should continue. Personally, I never tire of photos of magnolias in bloom and beautiful garden scenes... this is good for me as well. I don't want to appear self-centered, but I love my gardens and I enjoy looking at them through the long, dark months of winter when my arthritis is kicking in big time from the cold and I sometimes go days without seeing another human other than my dear wife. Winter without a doubt helps me appreciate the gardens all the more and to not take them for granted.
Yes I know... a lot of talk for a song without words... this was just the recitative my friends... the aria is about to begin... Take care , Larry
