First blooms...

Temperature in the 40's with cold winds... but the sun is warm and that made it feel a bit like spring today... 

...but now for more of those April showers... the next three days with several inches of rain predicted. Longing for the 50's... degrees that is...

Clumps of croci blooming here and there... eranthus as well, and the first open bloom of a hellebore...

Spent eight hours cleaning up the damage from our ice storm...  such are the vagaries of April in Wisconsin.... one can only react in as positive a way as possible...
