The birch walk is one of my favorite parts of our gardens. It's makes a nice stroll no matter the season. A couple of days ago we were enveloped in the autumn foliage as we walked along this path…
In winter, passing in the opposite direction, our little red barn becomes a destination. I love the look of the white trunks, bright red barn, and white snow…
In spring magnolias become the destination, but there are all matter of spring flowers growing and blooming along the way… hellebores and ferns to the west of the path beneath European beeches, and a multitude of spring blooms and fresh hostas to the east beneath Moerheim spruces…
In summer the pathway becomes quiet… a place to stop and relax… and appreciate the gift that is gardening… Larry
