I'm wondering if any of you might have a source or sources for Cyclamen purpurascens. I have been searching the internet to no avail and would appreciate any leads you could offer. I presently only have one plant that has been increasing in size every year. I've discussed hardy cyclamen with folks who have knowledge and experience with them and they feel strongly that this is the only reliably hardy one for the midwest. The snow has just melted on the plant pictured above and the foliage looks as good now as before the cold weather hit. I also think that this variety actually prefers a bit of moisture which helps them get through our winters, nor does it go dormant in the summer. I do look forward to when this plant starts seeding about as well.
If you know of sources (US or abroad), I would appreciate your mentioning them in the comment section.
Thank you, Larry
