Adaptation of Tiffany Hanging Lotus

The 'adapted' aspect of this latest Tiffany reproduction involves the ring. The original Tiffany hanging lotus used a two inch ring at the aperture of the shade, but I elected to adapt to a three inch ring and the use of interior reinforcing wires for added strength. The variations in the color of the water behind the stems of the lotus flowers were created by using three slightly different sheets of Circa 1900 glass, the desire being to create a sense of shadows over the water. The shade is also pictured below next to a Tiffany inspired wisteria window I created several years ago... Larry
