The extreme heat prepares to depart for several days and the humidity has already diminished, allowing me to get all the garden beds edged this morning. Tomorrow will be very busy indeed, as we prepare for Sunday afternoon's garden visitors.
There are a great many orienpet lilies throughout the gardens, but there are four that particularly please me. They are Pizzazz, Sheherazade, Leslie Woodruff, and Silk Road. Silk Road pictured here at seven feet of height, is at close to peak bloom today.
